Well, I did it! I gave up what I have for what I want. With much diplomacy, tip-toeing and tact, I have accepted a new full time position at Dr. Major's office as his Billing Specialist. I will still be working at Dr. Moesinger's office until March (which means possibly working 5 1/2 to 6 days a week until then) and then I will be only filling in if they need me for other's sick days or vacation. This has been a very difficult decision for me because I have loved working for Dr. Moesinger so much. I wish he could offer me what I need and what I want, but at this point in his practice and career, he can't:(
I am excited for this new opportunity and challenge. It has come at the right time for me because I also had my first Botox treatment for my voice on Thursday. I will certainly need a full, strong voice for my new job! If you want to hear what "frozen" vocal cords sound like, give me a call this weekend!

Wow. You go girl! I know you've been deliberating this for a long time. Way to go for what you want!
That's really cool Heather!
I am excited for you to be able to do what you want to do!
Your observation is true, that it is hard to give up what we have and love for what we want next. Even harder is the occasional need to give up what we have and move on without having a clear picture yet of what that will entail, except the faith that it will be better. Knowing you, you have the blessing of being able to look back and say, "There are no regrets." Love you, and admire your courage.
I love your new sexy sultry voice. I guess in a week or so you'll be back to normal voice and then we will all miss it. :)
You can do like Phoebe and try to get a cold to get the sexy voice back.
Sounds like things are going great for you! Congrats on the job and the new voice!
@ Beth - Hehe! That was a funny episode!
