Feelin' Blue

-Went to the hot springs last night @ 10 pm with Dreampacker, CowboyBob, Nicoletta, Tristano and the Rock.
- The hot springs are right next to the cold river.
- The hot springs are pretty hot.
- Tristano was kind enough to show us how he trains during the winter for his annual jump into glacier fed Emerald Lake near Timpanogas Peak...
- Yes, that's him in the frigid Ogden River. I don't know why the picture is kind of blue, but it sure is fitting for the story.
- Hats off also to the Rock for standing in the cold wind to "get the shot" :)
- Still counting on one hand the times I've been warm this winter. Better go back to the hot springs some more...

Now that, is awesome. Something about water that has ice in it just . . . .well it's cold. Actually it's good training for canyons.

Wow! I have a hard enough time staying warm without soaking in freezing water! It sounds like an awesome night for hot springs though!

Thanks for letting us invite ourselves! It was great. Looking forward to next time. 24 degrees, colder with the wind chill. I know now what to take/wear.

Yep. That's my honey. Insane, but entertaining. Love him and LOVED the hot springs!!

Surely all that crazy doesn't run in the family.
