I love Road Trips...

One is never just like another. Meet "New Moon". He made his grand entrance at Lee & Staci's last Thursday night while we were visiting their fun little farm. He was not walking at all and not breathing very well after a very difficult "pull", so Lee brought him out of the cold pasture and right by the warm fire. We returned him to his mama the next morning, had a fabulous pancake breakfast cooked by Staci's daughter,Marqui, and then headed to Moab!
My beautiful, amazing, talented friend Staci!

Friday afternoon we hooked up with the Moab Marathon crew at the Delicate Arch Trailhead. Love this little hike!

Saturday morning we had a great time enjoying the energy of the crowd and watching and waiting for our runners! Bethany is running to the finish line with a smile on her face and "high-five's" all around! Yea! That's my sister!

Saturday night on our way home we took a detour...

Sigh........Sunset @ Dead Horse Point

Sunrise and sunset at Deadhorse rival those anywhere in the world, even at the Grand Canyon. Glad you waited to experience it.

We timed the sunset perfectly. It was cold and windy, but worth it!

Beautiful pics! It sounds like the best of times! I love road trips too and dream of just heading out someday with no exact times that I need to be anywhere, so I can stop when the mood strikes! I did the sunset at Deadhorse too and it was breath taking!!
