Gone to Border Collie Heaven
Now it's not what you think. For those of you who don't know - there is a little bit of cow-dog heaven here on Earth. And after months of deliberation (and neurosis-depression on Milo's part) and a few tears, we decided our Border Collie would be much happier keeping the Wild Bunch's cows, horses and chickens on the Little Dell Ranch all rounded up where they are supposed to be. Wildbound will teach him what he was born to do...HERD! Milo will be a great horseback riding buddy for her as well. Happy Trails, Milo. We will see you soon! Thank you Wild Bunch for being willing to make Milo's dreams come true:)

Valentine's Day
Since my hubby has started his Master's class, he has had to spend a lot of time with his laptop. So, in order for him to remember what I look like, I had some photos taken for Valentine's Day. The shots of me where I really belong (in a field of flowers, on a mountain top, in the desert sand somewhere...)will have to wait a couple months for the thaw - it's so strange to see the "urban" version...(shot at the Old Post Office on 24th St in Ogden). We also took a drive up to Crystal Hot Springs Saturday and had a nice soak. Shopping for a new backpacking tent has also commenced:) Yea!
I love you, Rock. Happy Valentine's Day!

Chocolate Fondue
Well, another Super Bowl has come and gone (Too bad the Cards couldn't hang on)and my little Mayflower can now stop asking if it's Super Bowl Sunday yet. Why? Because for the last 3 years we have made chocolate fondue in the crock pot and she loves it! For those of you who enjoyed it at the BYU vs. Utah game a few weeks ago with us, here is the recipe.
14 oz of semi sweet chocolate (chips)
4 oz white chocolate (chips)
1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
3/4 cup half and half cream
1 tsp vanilla or other favorite flavoring
Melt/stir ingredients in crock pot or fondue pot on low and enjoy!
various things to dip:
angel food cake
pretzels
cream puffs
strawberries
grapes
nutter butter cookies
brownie bites
apples
