They found him.
I just received my new National Geographic Adventure magazine yesterday. Guess what. It appears that they found him. Everett Ruess. Yep. Mmm-hmmm. I have the article if anyone is interested.
So if the Utes took his burros over by Comb Ridge, then why were the vuros found in Davis Gulch with some of his belongings? Does the article mention that at all? Cool beans!
I just read the whole article. Wow. Reads like a Tony Hillerman novel combined with an episode of "Bones". Apparently, the burros "found" in Davis Gulch were not Everett's.

It's a good article. What a great story the detective work made!
I found the article on line. I'm a little sad. The mystery was more fun.
They didn't let me read the whole article online.
